Reams and reams of salacious newsprint was documented about how there aren't any permanent friends and enemies in film fraternity. The cold war between the Trisha and Lakshmi Rai is finally, over way to SIIMA awards in Dubai.
According to the grapevine, they met up on the after-party at a well-liked club, broke the ice and began speaking to one another. Soon they were seen chatting up like good old friends and customary friends who were present there, were happy to peer that they cleared the air and have become friends.
Earlier there have been media reports about cracks that developed between the 2 after Mankatha release, when Lakshmi Rai claimed that she was the primary actress to be signed on by director Venkat Prabhu and that she was offered the selection of roles and he or she rejected the role that Trisha opted for.
Trisha who did Ajith’s love interest in Mankatha at the other hand, shot back by saying that the former’s statement was ‘silly’, and given at any point of time, she would select to do the similar role she did within the film. This confrontation was played up by media as a cat fight!
Both, Trisha and Lakshmi had not met since then and once they did at SIIMA awards, they spoke and thrashed out the problem which was more of media made. So all’s well for now.
