Samidurai, a former assistant to choreographer/filmmaker Lawrence and who's differently-abled, is directing a film titled Kurumbukara Pasanga.Starring Monica and Sanjeev of Kulir 100 Degree fame, it’s about friendship and romance. The audio was launched recently within the city.
Monica, who was shooting for her upcoming Malayalam film 916 in Quilon, Kerala, took a day’s break to wait the event.
Speaking at the occasion, Monica said, “Initially, I had apprehensions concerning the director — how was he going to deal with the workload. But, the way in which he narrated the subject, and extracted the most productive from all of the cast and crew, really amazed me. Sami sir is an intelligent filmmaker. I BELIEVE proud to have acted within the film.” Arulraj has composed the tracks.
