It’s Friday July 27 and 3 small Tamil films are releasing – Maalai Pozhuddin Mayakathiley, Pollangu and Suzhal.These are films that have been looking forward to a date after the hot biggies occupied theatre space.
The big release of the week is the Hollywood animation film Ice Age 4 : Continental Drift. After a few years an animation film from English is getting dubbed into Tamil. It's releasing in a dozen screens in Chennai city in 3D.
The lone Hindi film releasing is the starless sex comedy Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum. Meanwhile The Dark Knight Rises continues its hold in multiplexes because it has taken over the larger screens in multiplexes.
