Band hunt for Konjam Koffee Konjam Kadhal

The movie crew of Konjam Koffee Konjam Kadhal ( K4) have unleashed a band hunt competition where the contestants should compose and sing one Song in Tamil or English or both jumbled in the given theme Konjam Koffee Konjam Kaadhal. The song may also be according to coffee or love or on both. The winner gets an opportunity to have their song included within the album of the film!Auditions will happen on August 10 and 11, at 9 am, at Balamandhir German Hall, Prakasham Street, T Nagar. Contestants can perform in rock, classical, folk, cinematic, hip hop, etc. Duration of the song shouldn’t exceed greater than six minutes and never lower than three minutes. The lyric and the composition needs to be original and done by the contestants. Contestants must provide the copy of the lyrics before the audition.

They need to be present and able to perform at their scheduled time near the backstage entrance no less than QUARTER-HOUR previous to the playoff round or they are going to be disqualified. If a playoff is needed and a contestant band isn't present, the award will visit the opposite competitor. No band member may compete in additional than one band. The highest ten contestants from the band contest will perform on August 16 at Kamarajar Arangam, Anna Salai and the winner will walk away with Rs 1 lakh as prize money.

Veterans Nasser and Revathy, along side 23 new faces, are playing crucial roles in K4, directed by Venky, who runs a theatre group. “K4 takes pride in introducing 23 new faces to the Tamil screen, including the lead pair and in addition a couple of technicians. I'M happy to have Nasser and Revathy on board,” says the director.

The male lead is played by Hriday who had a lucky begin to his career when he debuted as a kid artiste in Mani Ratnam’s Bombay where he together with his twin brother played the sons of Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala. The feminine lead is Aditi Chengappa, an actor and model from Delhi.
