It seems like 2012 was a super year for starlet Priya Anand. She’s been signing some interesting films within the south and has also signed her second Hindi film. Her latest feather within the cap is that her debut film English Vinglish could be screened on the Toronto International Film Festival.The film, which has Sridevi in it as well, is scheduled to be screened on the film festival this year. And, needless to say, Priya is terribly ecstatic about this development. English Vinglish, that is directed by R Balki’s wife Gauri Shinde, has already got many of us eagerly awaiting its release because it marks Sridevi’s comeback to the massive screen after an opening of nearly 15 years.
Priya, meanwhile, have been busy shooting in Mumbai for her second Bollywood flick Rangrez. The film is being directed by Priyadarshan and it has young actor Jackky Bhagnani playing her hero within the film. Rangrez, coincidentally, is the remake of the superhit Tamil film Nadodigal, that's a tale about friendship and love.
In Kollywood, Priya has a movie opposite Siva Karthikeyan lined up, that is being produced by Dhanush. With such a lot happening for her, the Nootrenbadhu actress surely has no reason to complain.
