Mirattal marks the comeback of R.Madhesh to direction after Arasangam which released in 2008. Mirattal stars Vinay Rai and Sharmila Mandre in lead roles. Vinay may be back to the silver screen after a hiatus post Modhi Vilayadu and Dam 999. Mirattal’s music have been composed by Pravin Mani.This is the remake of the superhit Telugu movie Dhee which released in 2007, starring Vishnu Vardhan Babu and Genelia. The filming of Mirattal have been extensively done around England and especially in London. 
Actor/director Manivannan, who has till now directed 49 films, is prepared to direct his 50th. The ace director could be creating a sequel to his super hit Amaidhi Padai that starred, Sathya Raj, Ranjitha, Kasturi, Sujatha, SS Chandran and R Sunderrajan.Manivannan’s favourite actor, Sathyaraj will again do the lead role within the film. The duo has for now titled the film Amaidhi Padai part 2. However the director has hinted that the title might undergo a metamorphosis. Manivannan has also disclosed that the script has got enough humour to carry the audience.

Contestants can perform in rock, classical, folk, cinematic, hip hop, etc. Duration of the song shouldn’t exceed greater than six minutes and never lower than three minutes. The lyric and the composition needs to be original and done by the contestants. Contestants must provide the copy of the lyrics before the audition.
She admits that acting have been so much harder than she had imagined in the beginning. Making her full-fledged debut playing the role of an innocent police constable in Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’, Janani Iyer says that modelling made her comfortable on sets, but acting is a special ball game altogether.“Modelling was far easier than acting in my first movie, and that i was very nervous at the sets, being the one newcomer in Avan Ivan. However, Bala sir and my co-actors Arya and Vishal made me feel extremely comfortable, without worrying concerning the collection of takes I WISHED for every shot,” Janani admits.
