Saranya Nag’s bold move

Looks like Kadhal Saranya of the Peraanmai fame, who was rechristened ‘Saranya Nag’ has dropped her prefix and is within the news for a bold move: appearing nude in a scene in a film titled Mazhaikaalam.The chirpy actress, who plays an actual life model to artists on the Fine Art School, has reportedly appeared in a nude scene, which has created quite a stir within the industry.

Clearing the air about her, the actress met the media within the city and said, “I play an outstanding arts student or even on the time of signing the movie, director Deepan had told me that there's a crucial scene within the movie which requires me to appear naked.

Though I USED TO BE initially shocked, he explained that the location warrants me to appear nude and that i was finally convinced. It’s an experimental role! It isn't a bare body lewd scene as mistaken by most.

It have been aesthetically shot with skin matching tight clothes and it'll be shown in silhouette. Had it been vulgar or coarse why would the censors clear it with a ‘U’ Certification?” she asks.

Sources said that a team of fifty technicians and a gaggle of professional artists were present when the climax was shot.

She retorted to a question regarding her exposing in future as well, she said, “If the script demands it, I COULD consider it. But, it isn't that each alternative film I AM GETTING could have such scripts.

For instance, in my next film, Muyal, I play a bubbly college girl. And my role model is Vidya Balan. She was playing homely characters till The Dirty Picture happened.

Saranya Nag can be seen in a film called Bodhai, that is an awareness film that professes ‘say no to drugs’ directed Selva Ganesh.
