There is a requirement for supernatural thrillers for the reason that record success of Anushka Shetty’s Arundhathi and Lawrence’s Kancha-na.Now, a Mollywood suspense horror thriller, titled Yakshiyum Njaanum, made by award-winning filmmaker Vinayan and released in Tollywood asLankeswari, is making its Tamil debut as Jakkamma.
The movie revolves around a ghost Jakkamma and Meghna Raj essays the role of the central character. Veteran Thilagan appears in an impressive role as well.
Nivas, an assistant to Santhosh Sivan, is behind the camera and Sajan Madhav has composed the music.
Bala has written the dialogues in Tamil. In step with sources, that is the primary Malayalam film to be shot using a Red One camera, which has immense potential for graphics, and was extensively utilized in this movie.
Although, there's no big flick lined up for this festive season, the makers of Jakkamma have planned to release it on April 14, as there’s always a marketplace for this genre.
