Chennai is fast becoming a hub for shootings and many films are being currently shot within the city these days.The latest to sign up for the bandwagon of location shoots is UTV’s Mugamoodi. The film starring Jiiva within the role of a perfect hero is fast making progress within the city, with Mysskin wielding the camera.
The buzz across the film is so big that hero Jiiva is getting mobbed by fans through the shoot. Apparently, the film is undergoing night shoots because of the nature of the tale and the shoot is on a furious pace within the Triplicane area of Chennai.
The vast choice of closely located terraces within the area are perfect for the chasing scenes between hero and villains for which even parkour is being used.
In order to look at the shoot, enthusiastic crowds has been mobbing the hero and the shoot even at 2 am within the morning, ready with their mobile cameras and handycams! Such a lot is the enthusiasm, that the crew is seen requesting the crowds to refrain from shooting the scenes for themselves.
Says a cheerful producer Dhananjayan, on behalf of UTV, “Their enthusiasm is to be seen to be believed! The crowds don’t appear to sleep at night or even a girls hostel nearby is abuzz with enthusiastic inmates who're occupied with the shooting.”
Jiiva’s daredevil stunts appear to have caught the imagination of the crowds who're being very co-operative.
