More than the hero Aadhi or Pasupathy, it was actor Karikaalan’s (who’s made a comeback with Aravaan) posters that adorned the town walls at the 25th day of its promotions recently.The actor, who claims that he has an enormous fan following, is returning as a villain after seven years with this Vasanta Balan directed movie.
“I feel Aravaan is the precise movie for my comeback mode,” says Karikaalan, who has acted in additional than twenty films in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada — notable among them are Soliamma (where he played the voracious baddie), Thai Manasu and Adimai Changili.
“Balan sir wanted someone between Aadhi and Pasupathy for that powerful villain role. That’s when he happened to look at Solaimma and immediately approached me. In fact, they waited six months for me to get that muscled look,” he reveals.
