Ameer to renew film with Kamal

Post Aadhi Bhagavan, the director is probably going to enroll in hands with the UlaganayaganLong before Ameer started work on Aadhi Bhagavan, the director was in talks with Kamal Haasan to do a movie. But, the modalities couldn’t be worked out then and Kamal went directly to start work on his ambitious project, Viswaroopam. And now, after almost two years, Ameer is planning to approach the Ulaganayagan again, with hopes of resuming the project.

Talking to CT, Ameer says, “After Aadhi Bhagavan, I’m planning on doing a movie with Kamal Haasan. I had already asked him if he would do a movie with me, and we had even discussed a few scripts. But, we both got busy with our respective projects later.

Now, I’m focusing on completing Aadhi Bhagavan and releasing it by June or even Kamal would have finished his Viswaroopam by then. I CAN soon catch up with him to speak about our next!” Interestingly, Ameer is a self-confessed fan of Kamal, and had even declared that he’d love to assist the ace actor in a single of his directorials. Even Kamal was all praise for the filmmaker’s Paruthiveeran, which fetched him awards on the national level.
