Simbhu aka STR is house hold name for Kollywood went global together with his Love Anthem ,the astonishing response from the worldwide audience made the makers of Oh My Friend to rope in Simbhu for a song called Natpuku illa Ellai.The actor is understood for his friendly behavior, he doesn’t have his starry egoes to croon for somebody else’s movies .TO NOT forget , the entire numbers were on top of the charts and it became promotion material for the flicks in addition. Simbhu had done in past crooning for Jeyam Ravi in Thillangadi, Doo, Prashanth’s Mambattiyan.
Apart from singing assignments , the actor has handful of projects which might be yet to be completed .The actor is currently within the city shooting for gangster flick “Vettai Mannan” Oh My Friend’s dubbed version have been titeld Sridhar and has Siddharth , Hansika and Shruthi Hasaan.
