It looks as if a current good trend in Kollywood when directors who've made it big come forward to encourage their assistants who're embarking on their debut ventures in cinema. The latest to enroll in the league appears to be Mynaa fame Prabhu Solomon’s assistant, Rama Subbaramam who's ready along with his first film Kandupidi Kandupidi, that is produced by Kalki Yuva and Samu Sivaraj under the Movie Bazaar banner.
The film stars Iswarya Devan, Tharun Sathriya and Murai while Seeman has done the role of an investigative officer.
The director showed the film to his mentor Prabhu Solomon who was all praise for him after the special projection. He said: “Believing within the screenplay rather than running after big hero and heroines is an appreciable attempt by Ram Subburaman. KPKP is definitely going to get a very powerful place in Tamil Cinema…the lightening screenplay would definitely attract fans”.
With such a lot praise from the Kumki director, seems like the Rama is on an even wicket already!
