Imman riding high

Music director D Imman did find success coming his way as he would have desired. It took some time and a movie called ‘Mynaa’ to send his stock soaring and now he's keen to cash in.He received early popularity of his numbers in ‘Whistle’ but that was some time ago. Now, he has slowly worked his long ago into the massive league, with the intention to say. A relative of the present hot-shot music composer – Harris Jayaraj — Imman is a sought-after man in Kollywood and is now said to be busy with ‘Kumki’ directed by Prabhu Solomon.

However, it hasn’t been a breeze of any sort for Imman so far as ‘Kumki’ is worried. The music composer who's known for his swift working style, reportedly took eight months to compose songs for ‘Kumki’, which sees the debut of a scion of the Sivaji Ganesan family — Prabhu’s son Vikram Prabhu.

Prabhu Solomon who's apparently delighted with Imman’s work, said he had composed six superb songs. He's sure that Imman’s songs in ‘Kumki’ might be even better than those in ‘Mynaa’. The director says there are plans to launch the audio in Chennai soon.
