The Tamil Film Producers Council has decided to not start any new film till 30 April. This decision was taken following a disagreement with FEFSI workers. The wage row that forced the FEFSI workers to halt all shootings has led to TFPC taking the harsh decision. The TFPC is eager on starting a brand new association alternative to FEFSI. But the decision was halted because of intervention by veteran director K Balachander.
Upon his advice they've decided to take a last call at the issue after a while. For now, they've announced that no new films will start before 30 April and the continued shoots will continue.
