Filmmaker Gautham Menon is widely known for the music in his breezy love stories. Be it Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu or Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya, the music – by composers like Harris Jayaraj and A R Rahman – was much appreciated. And now, the director is operating with Ilaiyaraaja in his upcoming Neethane En Ponvasantham. That is the primary time that the combo is operating on a movie. Apparently, on every occasion Gautham came up with a script, probably the most first names that he’d bring to mind to address the music was Ilaiyaraaja! However, it wouldn’t click because of many a reason behind. Neethane En Ponvasantham (which is, interestingly, a song within the maestro’s Ninaivellam Nithya), he had decided that the music must be done by Ilaiyaraaja. Already, the 2 teaser songs from the film – one sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and one by Karthik – are doing well on Youtube.
