Ganesh Venkatraman appears to be in full work mode. Post his well-received performance in Panithuli, he has moved directly to the bilingual film Chandra through which he stars opposite Shriya Saran. Within the film, he plays the nature of a handsome young prince.Sources with reference to the unit say that the makers desired to put use Ganesh’s beauty to their character’s advantage, and shaped him like a Mills and Boons alpha male hero; typically handsome, flirtatious, intense and very desirable.
While Shriya plays a last-generation princess cited in a constrained and standard atmosphere, Ganesh plays a broad-minded prince mentioned in America.
Directed by Roopa Iyer, it has also has Kannada actor Prem within the lead and Vivek and Sukanya playing key roles.
“People appreciated my screen presence in Panithuli and there were many offers coming my way. I'M being extremely selective concerning the scripts and the characters that I choose,” explains Ganesh.
