The Tamil Film Directors Association, one of the most powerful bodies within the Tamil film industry, has launched an exclusive website which they hope will benefit their members and movie buffs. The event, which was held at an individual multiplex in Chennai, saw top directors from the industry wishing the venture well.The Tamil Film Directors Association can also be reached at www.tantis.org from today. The web site have been created in an interactive manner and can be more like an e-magazine where fans too can interact.
The website also has a webtv (Directors TV) that may be operated for 12 hours an afternoon. The positioning would even have vast number of censor scripts, ebooks, film news and film-based programmes.
The Directors TV will air short films and documentaries being made by the members of the association. Also, the muhurrat and audio launch functions of the to-be released films can be aired on this TV.
Aspiring dancers, actors, cinematographers and musicians can register their names within the TV. It'll provide a chance for them to make a their foray within the filmdom.
