Amy is Vikram’s pair, not only in Thaandavam but in addition in I. The casting for the Shankar project was done after the director saw the stills of them together in Thaandavam, it's said. So, was it Vikram who recommended Amy to Shankar? The actor just shrugged it off saying, ” I FEEL we all know who Shankar sir is and the way he is.”Apparently, the nature in I demanded a London girl and that’s why Amy was chosen. Amy says, “I’m honoured to be working with Vikram; that too so early in my career. We’ve done numerous work in Thaandavam and that i hope audiences like it.”
