S.P. Balasubramaniam has always actively lent his support to good causes. Once again, the legendary singer joins hands along with his peers to accomplish at a live music concert.The Sri Sankara Heart Foundation has announced ‘Idhaya Geethangal’; a musical event to be held on the Nehru Indoor stadium on June 30.
The funds raised throughout the concert will go towards surgeries for plenty of patients with serious heart ailments.
Popular Lakshman Sruthu orchestra, world-record holders for performing non-stop for 36 hours on stage, will even perform on the show.
Fans are especially waiting for the winning combination of SPB and Chitra, who can even sing at concert.
The duo has sung several songs together over time and lots of of them are super hits. Paying attention to them sing these duets again will certainly be a treat for music lovers.
Speaking in regards to the concert, Jayaramakrishnan, Managing Trustee of Sri Sankara Heart Foundation, said, “Medical help is required by many that cannot afford it.
Though the federal government is doing a perfect job in addressing this need, there are particular areas where we will be able to extend our support.
Being related to this cause is likely one of the ways that we will reiterate our commitment and provides something back to society.”
