Atul back in Kollywood

Mumbai actor Atul Kulkarni, who appeared in Tamil films Hey Ram, Run and Padikkadhavan, is back in K-town.

The actor is the new addition to Ajith’s next untitled film to be directed by Vishnuvardhan. Meanwhile, he has also completed action thriller Suzhal, directed by Malayalam director Jayan.Atul was within the city recently for the audio launch of Suzhal with music by L.V. Ganesan. The actor plays an undercover cop within the film. A BUNCH of newcomers including Fariz, Roslin, Jothi, Neeraj, Charulatha, Saritha, Harish, and Maneksha are playing important roles alongside seasoned artistes Pratap Pothen and Nizhalgal Ravi.

Speaking to DC about why he chose to behave in Suzhal, Atul said, “I loved the script and how it was narrated to me by Jayan.

The movie has a modern subject and deals with the problem of international terrorism. The youth today is exposed to lots of dangerous things, so the film has a bigger message.” Several film personalities including Thanu and singer Blaze were also present on the audio launch.
