Mugamoodi-First Look & trailer launched

The ‘First Look’ and the theatrical trailer of UTV Films Mugamoodi directed by Mysskin and featuring Jiiva, Narain, Nasser and Pooja Hedge was launched today (June 29) morning at a well-liked multiplex.UTV promoted the ‘First Look’ launch aggressively with full page ads in today’s entertainment supplements of all major newspapers. It made the launch an event on its own with UTV’s Siddharth Roy Kapoor flying in from Mumbai.

The entire cast and crew of Mugamoodi barring heroine Pooja Hegde was present at the occasion. Suriya was the executive guest on the launch where he unveiled the primary look and theatrical trailer of the film.

The making of Mugamoodi and the trailer were showcased for the guests on the function. The making showed the difficulty that Mysskin and Jiiva took to create the Mugamoodi phenomenon. The trailer looks slick and in addition created a hype and mystery across the super hero character.

The cream of Tamil directors was present at the occasion like Gautham Menon, KVAnand, AL Vijay, Jananathan, Kannan, M Raja, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, and Elred Kumar. Leading producers like RBChowdhary, Kalaipuli S Thanu, Gnanavelraja, T Shiva were also present.

Jiiva, Narain and Nasser the principal actors also mentioned the mystic and difficulty within the making of the film. An emotional Mysskin said: “ Mugamoodi was my childhood dream. Right from the day I became a filmmaker I USED TO BE hooked to creating it”.

Mysskin was all praise for Jiiva and Narain and said : “ Suriya was the unique choice, nevertheless it ultimately came to Jiiva. His dedication to his work is amazing. Jiiva has done a marvelous job. Narain as antagonist is awesome and had immense trust in me. I don’t claim that I'VE made a super film but tried my best to make a superhero film with Indian sensibilities”Mysskin also went out of his method to praise UTV’s South Head, G Dhananjayan for his perseverance, exertions and motivation which made his dream come true.
