GV Prakash was deeply saddened by the untimely demise of his Guru, Das Daniel. The music director revealed that Das taught him such a lot and was answerable for introducing him to trendy progressions in music. He added that the depth of his knowledge was truly amazing. Not just that, Das Daniel conducted strings for the entire films that GV Prakash has composed for.
