Vikram’s period film Karikalan appears to be heading nowhere. After shooting 25 percent of the film, the impending Tamil flick has come to a standstill, because the actor is busy together with his other project thereby putting the movie on hold.Grapevine has it that Vikram, who participated within the first schedule, is keeping himself busy together with his Bollywood project David. Of late, he was also in London for his upcoming Tamil movie Thandaavam, which was launched after Karikalan. However, the actor appears to be in no mood to sign up for the Karikalan shoot within the near future as he's devoting his full time to his other films.
Meanwhile, director Kannan has denied the reports and has said that as Vikram is busy in other projects, Karikalan is anticipated to restart in June. The primary schedule of the shooting is finished and the unit is keen to start out the second one phase.
Karikalan is a historical movie in keeping with one of the most popular Tamil kings, Karikalan Chola. Bollywood actress Zarine Khan is enacting the nature of Velir girl and Anjali may be seen in the most important role.
