STR’s nephew Samarth is debuting as his ‘son’ in Poda Podi!
Yes, you might have read it correctly, as Samarth is STR’s one-year old nephew. The ‘family’ is in Hong Kong shooting a song for Poda Podi.Poda Podi is a romantic musical written and directed by debutant Vignesh Shiva, featuring Silambarasan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar within the lead roles.
It has seven peppy songs tuned by Dharan, while cinematography and editing are handled by Nirav Shah and Anthony respectively. The film was in production since 2008 and is anticipated to release this year.
STR, Varalaxmi and Samarth are shooting at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort which has Asia’s only Toy Story Land. Also they are shooting at Disney’s new “Star Princess Tour” where little children’s dreams come true by treating them like Princesses. It's the first Tamil film being shot in Hong Kong’s Disneyland.
