‘Billa 2 is worth a shot’

The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Billa 2, probably the most awaited film of the year was sold for a whopping price of Rs30 crores! And legendary producer Aascar Ravichandran has bagged the deal!Confirming the scoop to DC, Aascar, who has plenty of big budget films under production said, “Yes, my production house has acquired the TN release rights of Billa 2”.

However, he was not forthcoming concerning the price paid for the film. “I felt there are not any big film releases this summer. So, Billa 2 is worth a shot,” was all he was willing to divulge.

According to sources within the know, the music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is likely one of the highlights of the film. With the audio launch across the corner, the producer, who's known for his unique form of promoting films, has planned to make it a memorable event.

Insiders aver that Ravi is making all efforts to bring out the music on May 1, which also happens to be Ajith’s birthday. The entire stars including two sizzling ladies Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Vidyut Jamwal and director Chakri Toleti are expected to wait the glitzy event.
