Leading ladies’ canned debuts in K-town

Some people get the fitting script the primary time but for some, things just don’t fall into place. We’re regarding the debut of a few leading ladies, who're desperate to kickstart their filmi career in Tamil cinema with much fanfare. However, as a result of various reasons, their debut films appear to be stalled. Here’s a glance at a few of them:Zarine Khan and Karikalan

This actress is currently engaged on Vikram’s flick Karikalan which appears to be in a place of bother, considering the actor’s busy schedule. While the Veer actress is kicked concerning the Tamil period film and her role in it, the film – despite being announced almost a year ago – isn't even half complete, as a result of issues just like the strike in Kollywood, a problem over who actually wrote the script of the film and Vikram’s other film commitments.

Varalaxmi and Podaa Podi

Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalaxmi should have come to the Tamil film industry with numerous dreams but her debut vehicle Podaa Podi seems to has been pushed a tad an excessive amount of. The Simbu-Varu romantic entertainer have been delayed for just about two years now. Finally, it sort of feels to be seeing the sunshine of day with the team currently shooting the overall portions in Hong Kong.

Deepika Padukone and Rana

After successful outings in Bollywood, this beauty was speculated to kickstart her Kollywood innings with a biggie, the Rajinikanth-starrer Rana. Deepika came all the way down to Chennai to wait the puja, the day when the Superstar was taken ill, or even shot a grand song sequence for the film. Unfortunately, as a result of Rajini’s ill-health, the film needed to be postponed and is currently on hold. However, all isn't lost for the actress because the Superstar’s upcoming flick Kochadaiyaan will feature her because the leading lady and her dream of “working with Rajini sir” will indeed come true. What’s more, Deepika actually pipped Katrina Kaif (who was approached by the makers of Kochadaiyaan initially) to bag this role!

Sonakshi Sinha and Viswaroopam

The Dabangg girl had signed Viswaroopam and was looking ahead to debuting in Tamil with this big-budget Kamal Haasan film, but things took a U-turn when the film’s schedules went awry. The actress couldn’t adjust her dates for the Tamil flick and so walked out of the project.
