She is to team up with Jayam Ravi in Bhoologam to be directed by Kalyan Krishna, for which Nayanthara was touted because the lead lady.Trisha was ruling the roost for the past decade. But Nayan, whose entry was much later, catapulted to dizzy heights together with her sheer glamour and bikini act and managed to achieve the top.
It is also recalled that on an earlier occasion, Trisha replaced Nayan within the Vijay-starrer Kuruvi — even after the latter had taken an advance. Later, it was rumoured that Nayan grabbed a Telugu film with Nagarjuna after Trisha was signed on.
More recently, a chilly war was triggered off between the 2 again when Nayan was signed by a well-liked saree store for one in all their new brands, though Trisha was already their brand ambassador.
About Bhoologam, sources say that the production house Aascar Films opted for Trisha after Nayan demanded an astronomical sum, and on top of it, placed several conditions before signing on.
Insiders reveal that the production house was able to sign her for an enormous pay packet, but what irked them were the various conditions.
She had said that she wouldn't wear revealing clothes and neither would she enact intimate scenes.
The buzz is that there have been also some issues in regards to the selection of assistants she would bring with her.
Finally, the producer had no choice but to go for another lead actress and apparently, Trisha fitted the bill. Trisha’s close sources disclosed that talks were on with her!
After Something Something…Unakkum Enakkum, this may be the second one time that Trisha can be sizzling alongside of Jayam Ravi.
