Later the thrill was that it'd be remade in Hindi but news about that soon fizzled out. Now however things appear to be looking up because the film is now being made in Telugu.
According to UTV honcho Dhananjayan, the rights for Telugu was bought by Ace film maker Bellamkonda Suresh.
The film will star hot young star Naga Chaitanya with Sunil and Hansika playing the feminine lead.
It maybe recalled that Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy played the 2 sisters as leads within the original. It continues to be seen who the opposite lead with Hansika is.
