However, the Karthi Fans Club secretary R Veeramani discloses that his association has big plans to celebrate the star’s birthday with various philanthropic activities.
Says he, “The activities may be hung on May 25th and should 27th despite the fact that Karthi is away at shoot. On Friday the fans have organized a blood donation camp at Pulianthope by about 100 people while another group will donate biriyani and churidar sets to women at an orphanage on Walltax Road. On Sunday another blood donation camp is being organized at a maternity hospital in North Madras by 150 people.”
The stress of the fans appears to be on inculcating a way of sportsmanship amongst the youth in step with the views of Karthi and so a football tournament and a Kabaddi match has been organized in North Madras for youngsters.
