Sivakarthikeyan started his career as a television presenter, stand-up comedian, film actor and voice actor. However Vijay TV’s Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, a comedy reality show, got him Marina, which became a sleeper hit.
Manam Kothi Paravai is alleged to be a romantic comedy film written and directed by Thulladha Manamum Thullum fame Ezhil. The film is alleged to be a comedy set in rural milieu. It stars Sivakarthikeyan and debutant Aathmiya in lead roles with music by D Imman.
