Santhanam and Rajesh to work again!!

The so-called ‘chemistry’ that is usually used to explain the on-screen matching of heroes and heroines would now should be used for an excessively different purpose. The similar ‘chemistry’ appears to have notched up a ‘perfect understanding’ between comedian Santhanam and director Rajesh.

The director has cast the comedian in lead roles, which was almost parallel to that of the hero, in all his three films as on date: Siva Manasula Sakthi, Bass Engira Baskaran and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. All of the films have turned out to achieve success ventures on the box-office, making it a hat-trick of success for Rajesh. Though Jiiva, Aarya and Udhayanidhi played the heroes (respectively in that order) in these films, it was Santhanam’s presence which hugely aided those films’ success on the box-office.

It is claimed that Santhanam is prepared to play the similar ‘supporting the hero’ role in Rajesh’s 4th directorial venture titled Azhagu Raja. The fim would star Karthi within the lead. Readers might recall as to what the highly successful combination of Karthi and Santhanam did to the box-office fortunes of the film Siruthai. As such, Santhanam has also starred with Karthi in his upcoming film Saguni as well.
