Anirudh bags four film assignments

The reticent young man who became an overnight sensation has chosen to maintain a low profile. But his music is actually taking him places.In Kollywood, Anirudh’s next project is a biggie – it looks as if he has landed a Gautham Menon project! Sources say that the 21-year-old have been offered a flick by the director with the intention to take off after he completes ‘Yohan’ with Vijay. Currently, Anirudh is operating on a Dhanush-production that’s being directed by Vetrimaaran’s assistant, Senthil.

The latest news from Bollywood is that he have been signed on by Anurag Kashyap for his new film and by Bejoy Nambiar for his trilingual, ‘David’.

Ask Anirudh about these developments and he says, “Yes, it’s true, I'M in talks with them for these projects.” While he refuses to divulge more, it's learnt that he’ll be one of the crucial composers for ‘David’ starring Vikram.

According to a source, “Nambiar tends to have two or three music directors’ work on a movie. So Anirudh could be composing a few songs for this flick. Contrary to rumours, he has not started work on it!”

With regard to Anurag’s film, it’s more likely to take off only by the tip of the year.
