What’s your role in Kalakalappu?I play Cheenu, who's the brother of Shiva within the film. We run a masala cafe in Kumbakonam. My character is more responsible while Shiva is usually upto some mischief. Probably the most criteria for accepting a job for me, is liking it so much and playing Cheenu was a large number of fun and the nature has become quite on the subject of me!
How was it working with Shiva?There was never a lifeless moment. Shiva and Santhanam kept us in splits and this friendship translates onto the screen. If truth be told the chemistry between Shiva and me is phenomenal! For a comedy to be successful, that’s quite important and therefore an excellent thing!
How was it working with Sundar C?I desired to play the nature the minute I heard my role from him. I USED TO BE really excited to be doing a movie with someone like him. I WILL BE ABLE TO hardly believe my luck to be working with him. I still recall my school days after I used to sneak out and watch his movies!
What’s the USP of the film?Its a whole entertainer for the summer holidays. One song that's about love failure would definitely be successful with the masses.
Why are you so media shy?Facing one camera itself is hard! Facing such a lot of media cameras makes me much more nervous!
