It is alleged to be a high octane espionage thriller. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi as Vishwaroop.
There is a large buzz within the trade that Viswaroopam is probably going to release on June29 worldwide in Tamil and Hindi. Once the post-production work is over in LA, Kamal may be screening the film for a Hollywood producer Barrie M. Osborne (TheLord of the Rings, Matrix, Face Off etc)
Viswaroopam is directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan and contours himself within the lead role. Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat are in supporting roles. Music consists by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Vairamuthu.
