Kalakalappu is hot out there

UTV Films Sundar C directed Kalakalappu is popping out to be the large May release. All theatres in Tamil Nadu are falling over one another looking to screen the film releasing on May 11.

Kalakalappu has the new and happening Santhanam as a ‘crazy comedy villain’. Santhanam after OKOK has reached dizzy heights as a comic book hero and will get any film any opening.

The catchline ad of the film says – ‘Enjoy and celebrate this summer with Santhanam at Masala Cafe’. The posters also are promoting the comedian in a large way. The film also has Vimal, Shiva, Anjali and Oviya in romantic lead roles along side peppy music by Vijay Ebenezer.

Kalakalappu may be Sundar C’s 25th movie as director. Trade sources say that the film has potential to take an ideal opening.
