Abhishek Bachchan-John Abraham in Vettai remake?

The Hindi remake of Tamil movie Vettai have been within the news for over couple of months. But things didn't fall into place for one or the opposite reason. However, the way forward for the movie still looks bright, because the makers of the film have get a hold of different plans. Well, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham has been approached to play the lead roles.If reports are to be believed, the makers of the film have offered the film to Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham, the mix that worked big time in Dostana. They are going to be entering into the shoes of Madhavan and Arya. However, Junior B is yet to provide his nod for the film. Meanwhile, reports suggest that there are possibilities of Karan Johar, who's co-producing the film, helming the project.

Earlier, Shahid Kapoor was approached to play one of the vital male leads in Vettai. After having several rounds of talks, he opted out of the film as a result of creative differences with the movie bosses. The Telugu version of Vettai titled Bhale Thammudu stars Naga Chaitanya, Sunil, Tamanna Bhatia and Andrea Jeremiah within the leads.
