Directed by Sneha Britto ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’ is a remake of the 1981 film ‘Sattam Oru Iruttarai’ by S. A. Chandrasekhar and stars Reema Sen, Piaa, Bindhu Madhavi and Taman Kumar. Vimala Britto is producing this movie, under the Esthel Entertainment banner.Under the supervision of director-producer S.A Chandrasekhar, Actor Vijay’s cousin Sneha Britto is directing this film. The tale and screenplay has been modified to fit the present trend.
Newcomer Thaman and Bindhu Madhavi are the lead pairs. The opposite supporting roles are played by Reema Sen, Suresh and Piya Bajpai.
NA. Muthukumar and Annamalai have penned the lyrics for the movie and Vijay Antony is scoring the music. Andria Jeremiah, Harini, Srilekha Parthasarathy, Naresh Iyer are to few among other who've lend their voice to the songs.
Robert (Dance Master) who was introduced by K. Balachandar in Alagan movie as a kid artist and who has choreographed for songs in Vijay’s ‘Sura’ and the most recent yet to release ‘Alex Pandian’ is the choreographing the songs for the movie.
This 1981 movie was earlier made in Telugu with Chiranjeevi, Malayalam with Kamal Haasan, in Hindi with Rajni and Amitabh Bachchan, and in Kannada with Shankar Nag.
