Thaman has emerged the freshest composers within the industry today. He has now announced that he'll be bringing out a non-film album together with his band Thakkali.The band titled Thakkali (tomato) features his friends including playback singers Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar and Naveen Madhav.
‘We have grown up in Chennai and are all foodies. And Thakkali is something is utilized in most dishes. Most importantly, we expect the word has a undeniable ring to it. And, we also felt very positive about this name.’
The band has finished recording one song and is currently engaged on three more.
