Anoop prefers Tamil films

Anoop, son of a well-liked Telugu writer who has worked as a co-director in lots of T’town films says that he likes to work in Tamil films.Having started his career with an Arya- starrer Vattaram and completing four films in a brief span including Chikku Bhukku, Anoop has bagged yet one more performance oriented role in Marumugham.

The movie has Daniel Balaji as some of the heroes and Ranya plays Anoop’s love interest.

Recalling his nightmarish experiences while shooting at Kodiakkanal for Marumugham he says, “There’s a scene where I MUST run down the slippery hillock towards the heroine.

We were standing as a bunch and director Kamal was explaining the shot together with the cinematographer.

Till then I DIDN'T realise that i'm standing at the tip of the cliff and the opposite side was a deep slope.

I was literally panicking but gathered all my strength and completed the scene. It was really challenging.”
