Vijay’s fans ban ‘Thuppakki’

Controversies around Thuppaki appear to be never ending, as Vijay’s fans from various parts of Tamil Nadu have demanded a ban at the movie. the makers of the movie assured to take away certain scenes which have been opposed by Muslim organizations for showing Muslims in bad light.But Vijay’s Muslim fans have now pop out alleging that those scenes haven't been deleted and the peace of mind was just an eye-wash and the film makers haven;t kept their word.

A petition to the house Secretary have been submitted by fans who were unhappy over the film. The Muslim fans of Vijay from various parts of the state had talks between them and decided to dissolve the fan clubs, because the actor has did not understand their sentiments.

Meanwhile the movie seems to doing great business collecting Rs 65.32 crore worldwide in its opening week. In Tamil Nadu, ‘Thuppakki’ minted Rs 45.60 crore within the first six days and it continues to run to packed houses.
