Karthi starrer Alex Pandian is gearing up for release soon but before that the audio launch will happen on December 12th, 2012. This audio launch is likely one of the most expected events of the year and listed here are one of the crucial reasons to celebrate it!December 12th, 2012 happens to be Superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday and the audio launch is scheduled on that day.

It was 30 years because the Rajinikanth starrer Moondru Mugam, through which he essayed the role of Alex Pandian, released. However, Karthi’s role has no resemblance whatsoever to Rajini’s role in Moondru Mugam.

Alex Pandian, starring Karthi, Anushka and Santhanam is gearing up for worldwide release on Pongal early next year. Directed by Suraaj, this film has some great tunes by Devi Sri Prasad.
