Santhanam as Goundamani and Premji as Senthil

Venkat Prabhu, during a TV show, was asked if he would ever remake Karakattakaran. The Biriyani director said that the film is a masterpiece and it'd be extremely difficult to do justice to the unique. But Venkat didn’t hesitate to expose his imaginary cast for the film.In place of Goundamani and Senthil, he said he would like Santhanam and Premji respectively, as Santa is sweet at bossy roles and Premji at getting whacked. However, he was quick so as to add that he's going to not remake the film and that the forged was just his personal opinion.
