Lyricist Madan Karky hits a century!

Lyricist Vairamuthu should be an overly proud man, as his son Madan Karky seems to have made a distinct segment for himself within the industry as an independent lyricist.Karky have been on a winning streak of late and have been giving quite a few hit songs be it peppy numbers or romantic melodies.

He is currently working with Mani Ratnam for Kadal and he's thrilled to be working with AR Rahman, whom he says is the rationale he came into the industry. “I have grown up taking note of his music. He's my closest friend to date,” says the lyricist.

Karky is worked up that he's hitting the century mark with Settai with which he completes the 100 song milestone.

“I thank the entire directors who've given me the opportunities through the years. Its been an eventful journey,” says Karky. And we're sure the young man has miles to head and plenty of more centuries to hit in future as well…
