‘Vada Chennai’ delayed again

Looks like director Vetri Maaran is operating towards giving a hat-trick of varieties in Kollywood. We're hinting at his decision to go for working with Dhanush again in his third project.Yes, he's going to be joining hands with Dhanush for the third time in a row (after Polladhavan and Aadukalam), for a movie that he's currently scripting.

Confirming the news, the National Award-winning director says, “Due to numerous reasons, I’ve postponed work on Vada Chennai, and I’m currently engaged on a brand new script. This venture will feature Dhanush within the lead, and can be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s banner. My crew, including G V Prakash, Velraj and Kishore, is a part of this project. We will be able to go on floors as soon Dhanush completes the film he’s currently working on.”

Prod him more, and Vetri Maaran says, “All I WILL reveal now's that this film isn't set in Chennai!”

Maintaining that he'll definitely finish Vada Chennai, he adds, “Simbu remains to be the hero of the film, and I’ll start work at the project once I complete my film with Dhanush.”
