On account of the 65th Independence Day, Vijay TV has a captivating line-up of special programmes beginning from 6.40am onwards. On 15th August 2012, the day starts with ‘Bhakthi Thiruvizha’ at 6.40 am. At 7 am and 7.30 am two half hour specials might be aired at the much awaited films Pandi oli Perukki Nilayam and the Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai.At 8 am Sivakumarin Thavapudalvargal could have a unique oratory from the legendary actor Sivakumar speaking about our rich heritage and the sacrifices made in History.
At 9.30 am Neeya Naana would have an enchanting topic that will warm up audience at the Independence Day. People at the show including students together with the preferred political speaker Thamizharuvi Manian speak about their favorite leaders of contemporary India.
At 3 pm a one hour special at the poetic classic film ‘Kumki’ directed by Prabhu Solomon. The show features the bunch of singers of the film along side the solid and crew of the film that's certain to have a good time galore through out!
At 4.30 pm Neduvali Richa brings you a sneak peak of the star Richa the damsel who has scorched screens together with her looks and function in films like Mayakkam Enna and Osthy. An exclusive glimpse into her acting profession and private favorites is certain to enthrall her fans.
At 5 pm a one hour special at the unconventional comic love story Attakathi will feature a full of life interaction between young audience and the forged and crew of the film with special walk-in celebrities at the show.
At 6 pm actor Jeeva spends an afternoon on camera amidst his whirlwind busy schedules for the exclusive show on I day special. Jeeva together with the forged and crew of the much anticipated film Mugamoodi brings in a number of interesting facet of the film.
At 7 pm essentially the most successful film of last year Payanam directed by Radha Mohan can be telecast. The film deals with a flight hijacking incident with loads of action, sentiment and comedy. It stars Nagarjuna and Prakash Raj within the lead at the side of Poonam Kaur, Sana Khan, and lots of others

Directed by Samuthrakani, starring Sasikumar within the lead role, the film Porali illustrates an astute fighter who can tackle large, greedy relatives of him.
