Why Mysskin turned lyricist

Director Mysskin has turned lyricist for his upcoming film, Mugamoodi. The ace director has penned a song, Bar Anthem, for this Jiiva-starrer.Revealing the cause of his ‘role play’, he says, “Madhan Karky has penned two songs for this film, but I knew he just couldn’t write this one. He's not well-equipped. Only Kapilan will have pulled this one. But unfortunately, he was too busy!”

He quickly adds, “This song was to be picturised inside a wine bar. An important criterion for scripting this number is that he must know the taste of alcohol and may have consumed it in his life. And Karky doesn’t drink! But I occasionally do. So, I penned the lyrics for this number, and likewise rendered it for composer K.”
