STR gets a railway station in Hyderabad!

Why is STR keeping a low profile? He's not to be seen in party circles and movie functions.

Simbu has quietly left Chennai for a month and is in Hyderabad shooting for his Vaalu.Vaalu is claimed to be a rollicking romantic comedy directed by debutante director Vijay Chander. It has Silambarasan and Hansika Motwani within the lead together with Santhanam. The film has music by Thaman.

Vaalu unit waited almost a month to get a railway station in Tamil Nadu to shoot for the film. Within the film the entire drama and action revolves around a railway station because the hero’s father is a railway station master. But Southern Railways couldn't provide him with a railway station for the shoot.

Finally Simbu, through South Central Railways has managed to get an actual railway station near Hyderabad for the shoot of the film. One of the most conditions was that the railway station could be given just for a limited time and the unit has to finish the entire scenes on the railway station within the schedule.

So the Vaalu unit is happening a war footing shooting on the railway station and all artist including the very busy Santhanam and Hansika have rescheduled their dates to finish the film.STR can be in Hyderabad till middle of August and he desires to complete theentire talkie component to the film by then. Vaalu is scheduled to release forDiwali 2012.
