Vettrimaran drops Simbu… takes Dhanush ?

Finally, the official announcement has are available in from producer Dayanidhi Alagiri that the Simbu starrer Vada Chennai have been shelved. However, director Vettrimaran will still do a movie for Cloud Nine Movies and interestingly, Dhanush was roped in because the lead star.It is worth a mention here that Dhanush and Vettrimaran went on give a smash hit Aadukalam and so they both won National Award for Best Acting and Best Direction.

Other information about this film are that GV Prakash was roped in to attain the music and Velraj will handle the camera.
