Autograph director coming back for a musical film

In just about all his films, director Cheran is aware of music and songs. Whether he treats stronger or milder theme, his interest on songs bring his projects to the fore to some degree. Currently Cheran is inquisitive about bringing out Vengayam to the screen. He's deeply engaged in promoting the film. He changed the title to Gayam and is making all out efforts to advertise it to better level. In the meantime he means his business by announcing another project called Neon Nagaram. The title follows at the lines of Thoonga Nagaram about Madurai. Sources from Cheran indicate that this film is set a musical venture and relies on a unique by Paadhai of Chennai. Cheran said he wish to exhibit the musical plagiarism and its effect at the film industry. This came from the theory of high level remake of movies and songs of old years. Many musicians of the industry are on the helm of devising their style for old classical songs which finally get destroyed. So Cheran claims that stealing of tunes is more tolerable than remake.

Cast and the crew is yet to be decided as Cheran is solely now relieved from the tussle of FEFSI and producers strike. On his affinity with director Ameer, he replied that each one such disputes are off the screen and he has no comments.
